Beautifully soft, the finely woven PURNA is dip dyed at both ends in a contrast colour; slightly oversized, it doubles as a shawl or headscarf.

Our merino products are made from supersoft finely spun merino wool; woven on hand-powered machines, each piece is finished by hand. The base colour of each scarf is grey undyed grey natural melange, with each piece dipdyed by hand. Wool fabrics are resilient and easy care, providing low temperatures are used, and retain their natural qualities of insulation, breathability and elasticity. Due to its natural antibacterial properties, wool naturally resists odours and requires infrequent laundering. Wool is one of the most sustainable fabrics in existence; renewable and biodegradable, it requires relatively little water for its production. Finely handwoven on wooden looms at a small workshop in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. The organisation works to fair trade principles. All pieces are finished to a high standard and then our ombre colourways are dip dyed individually.
