A perfect transeasonal piece, the Patagonia Womens Skyforest Parka has taken an archival design and added modern updates to function. The exterior 100% recycled nylon shell offers a lightweight yet breathable comfort, treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish perfect for protection against summer showers - while the lining is constructed from 100% recycled polyester. It’s hood uses a three panel construction with the benefit of an adjustable drawcord for improved insulation, while a full length button fastening and storm flap stops even the harshest of elements. Perfect for everyday wear the jacket also features several zipper fastened storage pockets; two exterior chest pockets, two hand-warmer front pockets and one internal pocket. The jacket’s silhouette can be enhanced through using the drawcord at the waist. The jacket is dressed in a surfboard yellow that makes up a predominant proportion of the body, with lighter colouring on the arms. Final detailing includes a woven Patagonia label at the left chest.

Patagonia was founded on the basis of creating a sustainable line of durable and functional clothing, something reflected in this jacket through the use of recycled polyester and nylon. Their polyester is sourced from retired garments and plastic bottles, while recycled nylon was created through using a method developed by the brands in-house chemists.
